Many of you have complained that I don't have any photos of myself up in the gallery, so on a dare from my mother who this photo was created for, I've decided to post it.

I had just recieved a care package from my mother and my sisters, which is near to impossible here in Sierra Leone given that there is no real postal service. I was so happy to get the package that I ran around my house screaming "somebody loves me, somebody loves me!" and then as a thank you I posed with most of the wonderful things they had sent me and emailed the photo back to them.

Look at those rain boots! Look at that Brooklyn T-shirt! Look at that Whitman's sampler and Charleston Chew! Look at the Pixie Stix sticking out of my ears!

It's amazing what happiness a few material posessions can bring.
